1. Church Prayer Meeting (8/25, Wed., 7:30pm, PC - Childcare in #213)
   Join us at our weekly meeting to pray for our church & one another.
2. The Lord’s Supper will be observed next Sun., 8/29. Missions offering will be received.
3. Appreciation Lunch next Sunday! Our church is preparing a special lunch to thank those who faithfully served His church this past year (& your family).  For everyone else, we hope you will be able to serve this coming year – lunch is $3.

1. RA/GA will kickoff the new church year on Fri., 9/10, at 7:30PM. Wear your RA/GA T-shirt and a big smile!
2. Back to Church Parents Meeting (9/12, Sun., 12:30-1:30pm, Bung. 3-4) The new church year is upon us, and we are excited to share our vision and plans with you. If your child is participating in any of the children’s programs, please come. 
3. Christian Sex Ed for 6^th & 7^th graders (9/26, Sun., 1-3pm, PC)
   Speaker:  Rev. Tolman Yung, Pastor for Children’s Ministries at FCBC-LA. Parents must be present for students to attend. Open only to FCBC church attendees.
4. Jr. Basketball Clinic (1^st -6^th grade, Sundays, 9/12-11/14). Must be attending FCBC Walnut for Sunday Worship and Sunday School.  1^st-2^nd gr.: 1:30-2:30pm, 3^rd-4^th gr.: 2:30-4pm, 5th-6^th gr.: 4-5:30pm.  Registration forms in office.  Fee for participation is $45 per child.  For more info, contact Josiah Gin at (909) 594-4481. 
5. Campership Opportunity – If you are interested in earning funds for future youth retreats, come and volunteer your time at the upcoming Jr. Basketball Clinic. No experience needed.  Contact Peter Gin (909) 594-4481 for details.
